What exactly is a Rickshaw?
Posted by: on January 26, 2004 09:59 AMFrom the Japanese jinrikisha, technically it refers to a two-wheeled cart pulled by one person, used as a means of transportation. In our case, it was kind of like a big, rectangular wheelbarrow. We used them mainly for hauling garbage, not people (except on our days off).
